ANTS SPEAK (scroll down to view)

Ants speak

BY :Abd Al-Daim Al-Kaheil
Translated By :Shenawi Mohummed Shenawi

Professor Robert Hickling has spent many years in watching insects and recording the sound vibrations they release. Yet, the matter couldn't be asserted till he was able to record sounds coming from ants. Hisaim was to follow up ants in the field crops; they didn't find better method than following ants’ sounds.

However, what surprised that scientist is that the sounds frequencies that ants release vary from an ant to another and from ants' species to another. There are twelve thousand species in the world and the ants' number on the earth outnumbers human beings' number. Before these tremendous numbers, researchers stood confused for how they can deal with all these sounds.

Many different sounds of ants could be recorded successfully and these pieces of research was published in Journal of Sound and Vibration magazine in 2006 and it was the first time that man can hear a real sound of ants!

This researcher published a lot of research and the most important one is about the communication among ants under the title "The Analysis of acoustic communication by ants": in Journal of the Acoustical Society of America magazine.

These researchers showed that ants exceed us at acoustic communication. Scientists expect that ant uses antennas to send and receive acoustic vibrations. The ant amplifies the received signals like the advanced receiving devices Moreover, it removes sounds overlapping , so it makes filtration or clarification to the sound to distinguish it from another. This is a very developed communication system that was unknown to scientists and they only discovered it a few years ago. Yet the Holy Qur'an dealt with that matter and told us that ants speak.

Allah said what means: Till, when they come to the valley of the ants, one of the ants said" O, ants enter your dwellings, lest Suleiman and his hosts crush you, while they perceive not.( suret al-naml 18 – ants) . In this verse, there is a clear evidence that ants have a language to understand one another and Allah gifted Suleiman with the ability to hear and understand these sounds. The scientists attempt to grasp these acoustic signals that ants utter. Yet, they distinguished four different kinds of these sounds after very long years of watching.

Ants use special acoustic signals that release during anger; we find that an ant takes the task of warning, so it releases a call that its mate receives, understands, and responds immediately. Listen to the ant's voice while it was warning the other ants against a certain danger.

Scientists assert that ants are like us, they perform their tasks efficiently. While working, ants speak to each other and talk like human beings. We have found out that ants organize the process of food collecting and other tasks through certain sounds and instructions it releases and the others hear and respond!

This is the ant's sound during its normal life and during working, moving and food collecting.

When an ant attacks a caterpillar, it releases fearful sounds. These sounds were completely unknown and they resemble the human battle .

The Phil De Vries discovered that insects release weak acoustic vibrations that ants can distinguish; the aphid, secretes a sugary substance that ants like, this insect releases vibrations during its work that ants pick and consequently rush to their livelihood. Thus acoustic vibrations are tools of communication among insects.

Allah said: {the seven heavens and the earth and all that is herein glorifying Him but there is not a thing but glorifies His Praise but you understand not their glorification. Truly, He is Ever Forbearing, oft-forgiving.} Al-Isra.44.

Robert Hickling, one of the notabl researcher , said" ants don’t respond to the human voices nor are they affected by it. But when we direct it to suitable vibrations, it is affected and respond to them. This means that ants have their own language and they are completely like human beings. Here we remember the saying of Glorified Allah {there is not an animal in the earth nor a flying creature on two wings, but they are people like unto you. We have neglected nothing in the book (of our decrees. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered.} Al-An ậm 38.

Hence we realize that The Holy Qur'an agrees with modern science .

Miracle : Was Moon really split half..?

The Moon's crack in the Noble Quran, and its appearance to split in half according to MANY eye witnesses, including non-Muslims!

Please visit: http://www.answering-christianity.com/moon_split.htm

The splitting of the moon is mentioned in the Holy Qur'an::
"The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent in twain.
And if they behold a portent they turn away and say:
Prolonged illusion.
They denied (the Truth) and followed their own lusts.
Yet everything will come to a decision".
Surah Al-Qamar (54), Verses 1-3:

Chakrawati Farmas, King of Malabar in India, WITNESSED the splitting of the moon!

The incident relating to King Chakrawati Farmas is documented in an old manuscript in the India Office Library, London, which has reference number: Arabic, 2807, 152-173. It is quoted in the book “Muhammad Rasulullah,” by M. Hamidullah:

“There is a very old tradition in Malabar, South-West Coast of India, that Chakrawati Farmas, one of their kings, had observed the splitting of the moon, the celebrated miracle of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) at Mecca, and learning on inquiry that there was a prediction of the coming of a Messenger of God from Arabia, he appointed his son as regent and set out to meet him. He embraced Islam at the hand of the Prophet, and when returning home, at the direction of the Prophet, died at the port of Zafar, Yemen, where the tomb of the “Indian king” was piously visited for many centuries.”

The old manuscript in the 'India Office Library' contains several other details about King Chakrawati Farmas and his travel.

The moon-crack Noble Verse, and the appearance of the moon-split Hadiths as a Sign of Prophethood.

As we clearly see in the Narrations below, the Prophet, peace be upon him, was asked by the people to perform a Miracle. Then Allah Almighty immediately caused for the moon to quake and crack as a Divine and Clear Sign of real Prophehood. It is important, however, to know that the Prophet, peace be upon him, did not split the moon with his index finger. This is a lie that was made up against our Prophet peace be upon him by some Islamphobes. It appears however from many witnesses that were documented in the Sahih Muslim and Sahih Bukhari, that Allah Almighty made the moon appear as it was split in half for some of the people who asked our Prophet to show them a miracle. But it is important to know that no where in the Islamic books do we see any mention of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, going up to the moon and splitting it with his index finger as some of the people mistakenly think.

Moon Quake would cause the appearance of a split:

The appearance of the splitting of the moon as mentioned in the many eye witness accounts below along with even a non-Muslim Indian king (see the next main section), is very possible due to the moon quake and the excessive vibration caused by the quake. The extremely quaking moon could very easily appear as splitting in half to the people on Earth.

The Noble Quran's Claim and the many recorded eye witnesses:

The following is the Noble Verse that talks about the actual cracking of the moon, and the narrations and eye witnesses that directly talked about the appearance of the moon-split which was a Sign from GOD Almighty to prove the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him:

"The hour of judgement approacheth; and the moon hath been cracked (inshaqqa). (The Noble Quran, 54:1)"

"inshaqqa" was translated into "split in sunder". The Arabic word "inhaqqa" can also literally mean "cracked".
As the scientific quote below in the "3- The fault line of the moon" section says:

"It's actually a fault line formed from a moonquake in the ancient past."
Indeed, the moon did get "cracked"! Allah Praise are due to Allah Almighty alone! See the captured images in the section below!

The S-shaped moon orbit!
It is also relevant to know that Allah Almighty described the shape of the moon's entire orbit around the earth as a shape of an old and dried-out date tree's branch, also scientifically known and confirmed today as S-shaped. The shape of the old and dried-out branch of a date tree does resemble the letter "S". I provided images in the article that prove this.

The eye-witness accounts:
Let us look at those eye witnesses' narrations:

Narrated Anas bin Malik: "The people of Mecca asked Allah's Apostle to show them a miracle. So he showed them the moon split in two halves between which they saw the Hiram' mountain. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar), Volume 5, Book 58, Number 208)"

Narrated Abdullah: "Allah sent (the Prophet) Muhammad and said:--

'Say, No wage do I ask of you for this (Qur'an) nor am I one of the pretenders (i.e. a person who pretends things which do not exist). (38.68) When Allah's Apostle saw Quraish standing against him, he said, "O Allah! Help me against them by afflicting them with seven years of famine similar to the seven years (of famine) of Joseph. So they were afflicted with a year of drought that destroyed everything, and they ate bones and hides. (One of them said), "And they ate hides and dead animals, and (it seemed to them that) something like smoke was coming out of the earth. So Abu Sufyan came to the Prophet and said, "O Muhammad! Your people are on the verge of destruction! Please invoke Allah to relieve them." So the Prophet invoked Allah for them (and the famine disappeared). He said to them. "You will revert (to heathenism) after that." 'Abdullah then recited:

'Then watch you for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke plainly visible.......but truly you will revert (to disbelief).' He added, "Will the punishment be removed from them in the Hereafter? The smoke and the grasp and the Al-Lizam have all passed." One of the sub-narrator said, "The splitting of the moon." And another said, "The defeat of the Romans (has passed)." (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Prophetic Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh)), Volume 6, Book 60, Number 349)"

Narrated 'Abdullah: "Five things have passed: Al-Lizam, the defeat of the Romans, the mighty grasp, the splitting of the moon, and the smoke. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Prophetic Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh)), Volume 6, Book 60, Number 350)"

Narrated Ibn Masud: "During the lifetime of Allah's Apostle the moon was split into two parts; one part remained over the mountain, and the other part went beyond the mountain. On that, Allah's Apostle said, 'Witness this miracle.' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Prophetic Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh)), Volume 6, Book 60, Number 387)"

Narrated Abdullah: "The moon was cleft asunder while we were in the company of the Prophet, and it became two parts. The Prophet said, 'Witness, witness (this miracle).' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Prophetic Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh)), Volume 6, Book 60, Number 388)"

Narrated Anas: "The moon was cleft asunder into two parts. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Prophetic Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh)), Volume 6, Book 60, Number 391)"

"Abdullah said that five signs have (become things) of the past (and have proved the truth of the Holy Prophet): (Enveloping) by the smoke, inevitable (punishment to the Meccans at Badr), (the victory of) Rome, (violent) seizing (of the Meccans at Badr) and (the splitting up of) the Moon. (Translation of Sahih Muslim, The Book Giving Description of the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell (Kitab Sifat Al-Qiyamah wa'l Janna wa'n-Nar), Book 039, Number 6721)"

"Abu Ma'mar reported on the authority of Abdullah that the moon was split up during lifetime by Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) in two parts and Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Bear testimony to this. (Translation of Sahih Muslim, The Book Giving Description of the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell (Kitab Sifat Al-Qiyamah wa'l Janna wa'n-Nar), Book 039, Number 6724)"

"This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abdullah b. Mas'ud (who said): We were along with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) at Mina, that moon was split up into two. One of its parts was behind the mountain and the other one was on this side of the mountain. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said to us: Bear witness to this. (Translation of Sahih Muslim, The Book Giving Description of the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell (Kitab Sifat Al-Qiyamah wa'l Janna wa'n-Nar), Book 039, Number 6725)"

"Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported that the moon was split up in two parts during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). The fault line and cracking of the moon:

"The hour of judgement approacheth; and the moon hath been cracked (inshaqqa). (The Noble Quran, 54:1)"

The following scientific web sites show, with images, how the moon's fault line splits it in half:

1- http://www.synapses.co.uk/astro/moon3.html:

"Do you need a telescope to see these things?

Yes, you really need a telescope to see the details in craters. You certainly need magnification for you to see rills (also called rilles or clefts). Rills look like dried up riverbeds and can be either straight or irregular. The irregular rills were probably created by flowing lava behaving like water and moving like a stream. The straight rills are probably faults like those on Earth - formed when a part of the surface collapsed on one side of the rill, leaving a cliff face. They are fairly common on maria because the basalt plains of the maria are only a few meters thick (but some may be thicker). Maria, however, are very wide. The crust under them easily deforms causing the surface to crack and sink, producing a fault that looks like a straight rill."

Islam and The Holy Quran

Quran Explorer - Interactive Audio Recitations & Translations

This Blog is a brief guide to understanding Islam. It consists of three chapters.

The first chapter, Some Evidence for the Truth of Islam, answers some important questions which some people ask:

>> Is the Quran truly the literal word of God, revealed by Him?

>> Is Muhammad(Peace be Upon Him) 1 truly a prophet sent by God?

>> Is Islam truly a religion from God?

In this chapter, six kinds of evidence are mentioned:

1) The Scientific Miracles in the Holy Quran: This section discusses (with illustrations) some recently discovered scientific facts mentioned in the Holy Quran, which was revealed fourteen centuries ago.

2) The Great Challenge to Produce One Chapter Like the Chapters of the Holy Quran: In the Quran, God challenged all human beings to produce a single chapter like the chapters of the Quran. Ever since the Quran was revealed, fourteen centuries ago, until this day, no one has been able to meet this challenge, even though the smallest chapter in the Quran (Chapter 108) is only ten words.

3) Biblical Prophecies on the Advent of Muhammad (PBUH) , the Prophet of Islam: In this section, some of the Biblical prophecies on the advent of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are discussed.

4) The Verses in the Quran That Mention Future Events Which Later Came to Pass: The Quran mentioned future events which later came to pass, for example, the victory of the Romans over the Persians.

5) Miracles Performed by the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) : Many miracles were performed by the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) . These miracles were witnessed by many people.

6) The Simple Life of Muhammad : This clearly indicates that Muhammad(PBUH) was not a false prophet who claimed prophethood to attain material gains, greatness, or power.

From these six kinds of evidence, we conclude that:

>> The Quran must be the literal word of God, revealed by Him.

>> Muhammad is truly a prophet sent by God.

>> Islam is truly a religion from God.

If we would like to know if a religion is true or false, we should not depend on our emotions, feelings, or traditions. Rather, we should depend on our reason and intellect. When God sent the prophets, He supported them with miracles and evidence which proved that they were truly prophets sent by God and hence that the religion they came with is true.

The second chapter, Some Benefits of Islam, mentions some of the benefits that Islam provides for the individual, such as:

1) The Door to Eternal Paradise

2) Salvation from Hellfire

3) Real Happiness and Inner Peace

4) Forgiveness for All Previous Sins.

The third chapter, General Information on Islam, provides general information on Islam, corrects some misconceptions about it, and answers some commonly asked questions, such as:

>> What does Islam say about terrorism?

>> What is the status of women in Islam?

Next: The Scientific Miracles in the Holy Quran
